The clip shows Rani mouthing the words, "I always tell the girls, never take it seriously, if ya never take it seriously, ya never get hurt, ya never get hurt, ya always have fun." Hudson was also in the clip, posing behind her daughter while rocking a pair of aviator sunglasses and holding a glass of wine in her hand. She finished the rest of the movie quote in the caption, writing, "and if you ever get lonely, just go to the record store and visit your friends." Fans simply couldn't get enough of Hudson—and her lookalike daughter—referencing one of her own famous characters, a role that earned the actress a Golden Globe award and an Oscar nomination. "Penny Lane shaping a new generation of penny lanes," one fan wrote under the TikTok video, while another user gushed, "Wow what a full circle moment."
