According to Cenat, Streamer University will allow content creators to gather at a college campus and have the opportunity to showcase their personalities and nascent brands, as well as meet other internet hopefuls. He was among Rolling Stone's20 most influential creatorsin 2023 and is known for pulling off viral pranks and inviting big-name guests onto his standup comedy-laced livestreams. Cenatboasts 17.3 million Twitch followers, making him the most-subscribed-to user on the platform. With 12.7 million subscribers on YouTube and 14.4 million followers on Instagram, he has rapidly become a defining force on the internet. A New York City native,Cenatattended SUNY Morrisville to study business administration before dropping out, cutting his own college experience short to pursue content creation. Now, with streamer university,Cenatis re-opening that chapter, albeit unconventionally. With videos on his YouTube titled "Streamer University First Day Orientation!" and "Meeting With Every Student in Streamer University," the project has a dual purpose – both to buoy Cenat's own streaming numbers and to instruct a younger generation (though not much younger) on how to become your own brand.
